MEET THE PHOTOGRAPHER
Hi there! I'm Joseph Yetman. Professionals and friends alike call me Yetty. I'm a chatterbox and I build friendships on the go. I specialize primarily in wedding photography and spend about 35-40 weekends a year eating wedding cake and photographing bubbly couples. I'd like to say it's my passion for capturing life's moments that gets me out of bed in the morning, but my friends know better, it's the cake. In all seriousness, I absolutely love what I do. It's taken me across the country and even beyond our nation's borders. I've shot weddings in Slovenia, Budapest, and the Captiva Islands. Traveling is humbling, I learn so much. Besides weddings, I spend a good chunk of my time photographing families, high school seniors, and people's furry friends. I photograph concerts and events for various organizations such as Cities97 and KDWB under the iHeartRadio banner. I also provide commercial photography for small to medium sized businesses, including nonprofits and community groups.
In addition to my regular photographic duties, I founded an organization that is very near and dear to my heart called The Isaac Initiative. We are a 501(c) nonprofit that provides no cost professional photography services to families with children (and adults) that have been diagnosed with a life threatening illness. We have a custom matte photo book printed for each family and also include the full resolution digital files from their session. You can click on the tab above for more information or watch the video below that Eagle Brook Church so kindly produced for us and incorporated into one of their messages. You'll also find a radio interview with 103.3 KUMD.
Lastly, it’s important to note; if you don’t like to laugh during your photo shoots, you better not hire me. I’d hate to break it to you, but you’ll probably come back to me time and time again to take photos for your family, business, or organization. Feel free to contact me with any photographic inquiries you may have. If you have invited me into your home or office to take pictures, you have invited me into your lives; that is much appreciated. With that, I bid you adieu. –Yetty
